SI8 Certified ($499) involves a 90-minute human review of your submission, verifying receipts, screening for IP and likeness issues, and producing a certified "CLEARED FOR COMMERCIAL USE" document that satisfies brand legal teams and E&O insurance requirements.
Can a brand or agency use the Creator Record ($29) document?
No. The Creator Record is explicitly stamped "NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE" and is not accepted by brand legal teams or E&O underwriters as a verified compliance document. For any commercial application — ads, sponsored content, streaming distribution, licensing — SI8 Certified is required.
Where do short films for streaming or distribution go?
SI8 Certified. A streaming platform licensing your short film has the same legal exposure as a brand using it in a commercial. Distribution liability is determined by who is buying, not the format of the content.
Can I upgrade from Creator Record to SI8 Certified later?
Yes. Log in, find your submission, and request an upgrade. You'll pay the $499 fee and your submission enters the human review queue. No need to fill out the form again — your existing record is the starting point.
How long does SI8 Certified verification take?
3–5 business days. Most reviews complete in 2–3 days. The actual review takes ~90 minutes; we buffer for queue management.
Do you offer refunds?
No refunds. If your SI8 Certified submission is rejected, we provide a detailed explanation and offer free resubmission after corrections. Most rejections are for missing receipts or prohibited tool usage — both correctable.
What tools are not eligible for verification?
We do not verify content created with prohibited tools including: Hailuo (training data concerns), Veo (access restrictions), Midjourney (image-only, no video), or any tool used on a free or non-commercial plan. See our Rights Playbook for the full tool tier list.
What payment methods do you accept?

Do I have to opt into the Showcase catalog?
No. Many creators use SI8 Certified purely for their own client documentation — no Showcase listing required. Catalog opt-in is available for both tiers: SI8 Certified entries are listed as Rights Verified, Creator Record entries as Self-Attested. You can opt out at any time from your dashboard.
